If you're from a Bat'verse, which one, and how do you think you'll need to adapt to Narrows'canon?

Age: 17

Short Bio: Madouka spent the first fourteen years of her life growing up in Gotham's Chinatown with her parents. They weren't particularly wealthy, but they were better off than most, thanks to both her parents working insanely hard - of course, this meant that Madouka hardly saw either of them, and when she did they were tired out from working. She had to find ways to preoccupy herself, other than homework, and the nearby martial arts clubs seemed like a good idea - learning to kick people really hard is a useful survival skill. Of course, it also quietly led her down the path of growing to like knives and swords a little too much, even if she was never technically allowed to use them.

Then, three years ago, her father died in an industrial accident, and her mother started struggling to keep up, becoming only more distant from her daughter. They moved to West Burnley not long after, in what Madouka feels was a rash and foolish decision to move in with her mother's new beau (or rebound boyfriend, seriously what the hell), a charming Spanish factory worker who is perfectly nice... maybe a little too nice. He is very different from her father, so she doesn't understand what her mother could see in him, and she tries to avoid both of them as much as possible. Of course, hanging out on the streets in Gotham is generally a bad idea, especially alone, but maybe less so when you have a disturbing fondness for sharp things like Madouka does. This is how she ran into the others in her group, of course - girls have to stick together if they really want to survive.

No man can live up to how she saw her father - hardworking, dedicated to his family, and even if he wasn't there all the time she knew he was working to make life good for her. Her mother's new boyfriend seems flippant by comparison, and the male gangsters around Gotham are only reaffirming her view on things.

Powers: No powers, just some training in kempo, kendo and being a scary little Japanese girl. She's strong for a girl, but still comparatively weak, so she relies more on her superior agility and the element of surprise.

Appearance (and/or attach a photo): Madouka is 5'4" tall, with dark brown eyes and fairly long black hair which she sometimes bleaches so that it appear more of a reddish-brown, and will tie up in a variety of styles such as two high pigtails. She doesn't wear a lot of make up, and her taste in clothing is ecclectic but generally skimpy.

Writing Sample: (This doesn't have to be for the character you're applying. Link/post to anything you've written and liked.) Well I greatly enjoyed the denouement of Flowerclock.
